The idea of going plant based seems awesome. So healthy! So fun! Then, day one comes. Uh-oh. For some reason it isn’t so easy all of a sudden. What to eat? How to plan? What if you actually want to eat meat every now and then? Exhausting. Right? Here at Venn, we totally get it. That’s why we exist - to make things easier for anyone to eat more plants. Always looking to encourage, improve and grow, Venn’s goal is to be part of the change that we believe the food industry needs by transforming the way people view, buy and cook their food. The first step you might consider is that shifting your eating habits doesn’t have to be looked at as “plant based,” but rather “planet friendly.” This mindset shift is like a big, bright light going off in your brain. Also, it makes you feel really good that you’re doing what’s right for our planet. Venn brings you food from ethically sourced places, not from “the cheap factory cranking out sugar coated everything.” Venn doesn’t want to force the world into eating more plants - we want to be the community of awesome people who know it’s the best thing for our minds, bodies and soul - plus it can be super tasty and nourish us better than anything else. So that people see the movement and it inspires them too. Let’s work together to eat the food that’s amazing for us and for the planet. The best part of all of this is that eating more fruits, vegetables and sustainably sourced food can be easier than you think (and definitely easier than trying to sort it all out on your own on day one of trying to go vegan). We met a few years ago, during a dinner with mutual friends. At that table a debate was generated around perspectives on inequalities, privileges, fears, dreams, secrets, inspirations and, of course, food.
We found something in common: the willingness to commit to the planet, changing mindsets... through the stomach!
We created Venn to inspire the increased positive impact we can have on the world. We believe in a future in which plant-based food is part of an ethical, sustainable and planet-friendly philosophy of life.
We are not perfect, but we will always be transparent and authentic in all our actions, and we will be continually looking for the best.
For me, ethics is directly related to humility – in the context of the world we live in, which is not ours alone. A world free of egos, without vulnerability and fear. A planet where we humans embrace our limits and live in total harmony with nature and our consciousness. When we direct our energies to simple everyday experiences, it is no longer necessary for us to be focused on finding solutions to save the world...a thought that makes me incredibly happy!! It was this line of thought that made me realize what we could achieve through Venn: We are all part of something much bigger than us, something that must be respected and cared for.
I see sustainability as a scientific formula to ensure that the future of our little blue planet is viable, peaceful, balanced and fair for all forms of life. The complexity of this formula lies in the simplicity of its solution: the impact of our existence is directly proportional to the quality of the legacy we will leave to our children. The result should be positive! The beauty and perfection of sequences and mathematical patterns existing in Nature, made me idealize the Venn inspiration: a common place between various entities, where the junction between land and water represents the balance that the planet is looking for.
To be healthy is to be aware of the importance of taking care of the health of the body, and the way we manage our interaction with the world. I'm passionate about socializing at the table, around the experience of flavors. I see food as a way to nourish not only the body, but also the soul. In fact, I visualize a simple binary code: «eat better – live better» and «be healthy – be happy» correspond to the «ones». The "zeros" are the problems caused to the planet. Based on good table conversations, I created the Venn dream: to inspire change in the lifestyle of those who experience us and to be part of the transformation that the food industry needs.

The Venn Network is made up of national farmers and producers, with small gardens and family businesses, who use various techniques to ensure sustainable management of water, soils and energy, to protect the environment and ecosystems and promote the local economy.

Organic and sustainable production in Alcácer do Sal. Rice without pesticide residues. To create an experience of exceptional flavor and texture in every grain of rice, each package has a single batch, without mixing.
Continuous production in the field and controlled environment through vertical hydroponics. In partnership with several institutions, they carry out a continuous process of R&D, looking for more and better varieties adapted to consumer tastes.
